Behind The Zines, No. 21

Issue 21 of Billy McCall's Behind the Zines is out now. Its a zine about zines. White I did not write an article for this issue, I did the layouts for pieces written by Todd Taylor, Kari Tervo, Brigitte, and Steven Svymbersky.

I really liked all the articles, especially Steven's on Pandemonium, a rare, out-of-print, zine I had never even heard of.

QRK5, Issue 17

I have published a new issue of my personal/art zine. This one features digital pictures from my newest camera; the Chuzhao mini. The zine has 14 full-color images with a little history and info about the camera.

I Love Zines Logo

I designed a logo for a new website. I Love Zines is Billy McCall's band new distro for zines. Distros are like wholesale outlets for zines. They aggregate issues from many different authors so book shops and news stands can deal with one seller rather than many individual publishers.

I sent Billy some quick rough sketches, he latched on to this one instantly. His only note was could the reader could be less generic, and thus, a magenta faux-hawk was born.
